Algimycin® PWF

Algimycin® PWF Algaecide/Cyanobacteriocide

A chelated copper formulation certified to ANSI/NSF Standard 60 for use in drinking water. It is proven to control algae (which can have an adverse effect on the taste and odor of water) and cyanobacteria and it improves water clarity and helps to reduce post-treatment potable water costs. 

No general water use restrictions are applicable at label rates.* 

  • Available in 2.5 (2 units in a case), 30, and 275 gallon containers
  • Active ingredients: contains 5% elemental copper in the form of chelates of copper gluconate (12.5%) and copper citrate (12.9%)
  • Dosing rates vary by species between 0.32 and 5.31 gallons per acre-ft.

Clearigate® Algaecide/Herbicide

A product that is ideal for irrigation canals. It is highly effective in controlling thick-walled filamentous algae, colonial planktonic algae, as well as Chara and copper-sensitive emergent, floating and submerged aquatic plants such as sago and other pondweed species. It is a premium solution with the added benefit of an emulsified surfactant/penetrant for breaking down thick cell walls of nuisance algae and aquatic weeds.

No general water use restrictions are applicable at label rates.*

  • Available in 5, 30 and 55 gallon containers (also available in 250 or 275 gallon heavy-duty stainless steel totes)
  • Active ingredients: contains 3.825% elemental copper in the form of mixed copper ethanolamines in an emulsified formulation
  • Dosing rates vary by species between 0.09 and 8.7 gallons per acre-ft.
  • Dilute and spray, or apply to flowing water through drip system (contact Lonza’s team of experts for assistance on drip applications)
  • Best suited for waters not containing fish
  • Permits may be required for application of this product; contact local authorities/state pesticide agency

Cutrine - Plus® Granular Algaecide

Ideal for bottom-growing filamentous, Chara and Nitella, with a visible reduction in algae growth 1 – 2 days after application. Once treated, water is safe for consumption for animals and livestock and may be used for swimming purposes.

  • Available in 12 pound (4 units per case) and 30 pound containers (units of 30 pound bags)

Cutrine Ultra® Algaecide/Herbicide/Cyanobactericide

A premium solution similar in nature to Cutrine – Plus® algaecides but with the added benefit of an emulsified surfactant/penetrant combination. A highly effective control for coarse (thick cell-walled) filamentous algae, mucilaginous (colonial) planktonic algae, and Chara and copper-sensitive vascular aquatic plants. This product controls planktonic forms; green and golden algae and diatoms; filamentous forms, and benthic (bottom-growing) attached forms. It has also been proven effective in controlling the rooted aquatic plant, Hydrilla Verticillata, Egeria Densa and other copper-sensitive species. Waters treated with this product may be used for swimming, fishing, further potable water treatment, livestock watering or irrigating turf, ornamental plants or crops immediately after treatment.

  • Available in 2.5 gallon (2 units per case), 30 gallon, 55 gallon and 275 containers (units for larger sizes)
  • Contains 9.0% elemental copper
  • Double chelated formula
